About Us
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Short version. Fort Langley is an independent information site about crypto and fiat casino payments and provably fair games, written for players in Canada. We run small tests, record the results, and publish what we find.
Who we are
The site is written and maintained by Dana Whitfield, our Lookout Editor. Before this site, Dana spent years as a blockchain auditing contractor, checking smart contract fairness proofs, and brings that habit to every post here.
We are not a casino. We do not operate games, hold player funds, or take a cut of any wager. We publish information only.
What we cover
Two subjects get most of our attention: how money moves in and out of casino accounts, and whether a game can be checked after the fact.
On payments, we compare crypto and fiat methods as a Canadian player would meet them. We time deposits and withdrawals, note the fees we see, and describe what the process actually feels like from the player’s side.
On fairness, we check published hashes and seeds where a game offers them. If a site claims provably fair play, we test that claim rather than repeat it.
How we work
Every post is built on a test that was actually run. We open accounts, make deposits, request withdrawals, and record the clock. For hash checks, we save the values and verify them ourselves.
We write in plain language and show our working. When a result is unclear or a test fails, we say so. We do not accept payment for a favourable review.
Who this is for
This site is for adults in Canada who want straight answers about casino payments and game fairness. If you are under the legal gambling age in your province, this site is not for you.
Gambling carries real risk. If play stops being fun, these services can help:

What this site is not
We are not a casino, an operator, or an affiliate that hides its role. We are not lawyers or financial advisers, and nothing here is legal or financial advice.
Rules differ across provinces. Check your local law before you play anywhere.
